Phifer SunScreen

Phifer SunScreen is a woven fiberglass product. The unique ribbed weave is designed to block up to 70% of the sun's heat and glare. SunScreen stops insects but will allow gentle breezes to enter. If your windows have existing insect screens, SunScreen can be installed in the same manner, often using the same frames. SunScreen offers good outward visibility and adds daytime privacy to your windows.

Unlike films or glass coatings, SunScreen stops the sun's heat and glare before it hits your windows and sliding glass doors. It's like having a shade tree in front of your window without blocking the view. Exterior shading is the most effective way to block solar heat gain.

Phifer SunTex 80 & 90

Heavy Duty Shading Fabric blocks up to 80-90% of the sun's hot rays!

Phifer SunTex is a fabric woven of extremely strong and durable vinyl-coated polyester yarns. The uniform weave design offers excellent outward visibility and good ventilation. Shading is approximately 80 - 90%, and SunTex is available in a choice of four earth tone colors. The fabric is also pet resistant making it ideal for use indoors and full-length screen panels.

Phiferglass fiberglass screening is constructed of vinyl-coated fiberglass yarns. Phiferglass is strong, long lasting and is not easily damaged, which makes it virtually the "carefree screening." Fiberglass screening is available in a choice of several meshes and colors. It is the original equipment on many windows, particularly those windows which have "half-screens," and on many storm windows. Phiferglass is also the ideal choice for large patio enclosures and for pool enclosures.

Known as NO-SEE-UMS screen, this fiberglass screen is a tightly woven 20×20 mesh designed to keep out smaller flying insects like no-see-ums, gnats, flies, and other bugs.

Phifer’s fiberglass screening is woven from permanent glass yarn which has been coated with a protective vinyl to ensure lasting beauty, color and flexibility. It is produced under the most exacting conditions to meet extremely rigid specifications.

Fiberglass screen is noncombustible and will not rust, corrode or stain, making it perfect for windows, doors, patios, and pools.

PetScreen® is pet-resistant screening built to be tear and puncture-resistant in order to prevent damage by dogs and cats, including clawing, chewing, and pushing. This pet-proof screening also protects against non-pets, including squirrels and raccoons who may also gnaw and scratch at screens.

Ideal for use in high-traffic areas, PetScreen is highly durable but installs like regular insect screening, making it excellent for use in patio and porch enclosures as well as windows and doors. PetScreen provides excellent outward visibility and is not harmful to pets.
